Perfect for corporate hospitality events or other receptions whereby guests are standing around eating and drinking . This is usually the format suited to canapes or buffet food. Guests may be alone and/ or familiar with only a small percentage of other guests.

Mix-and-mingle involves me circulating amongst the guests, entertaining them and in doing so making them feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. This method of entertainment brings guests together and "breaks the ice" enabling them to then socialise/ network with other guests during the event.

The entertainment often also serves other purposes such as taking pressure off food service for example, or in keeping guests busy while family photographs are taken at events such as weddings.

Where a formal sit down meal is part of the event the mix-and-mingle often precedes "table-hopping", table by table performances.
